Verie Sandborg , Nov 6, 2009, 9:48PM ESTGood luck with the jury duty. In the summer of 1984, I had jury duty for one week and got picked for three juries. One went to trial, but settled before the jurors met. Two others settled overnight after we jurors went home ready for the trial to begin the next morning.

Joe T., Sep 21, 2009, 5:00PM EDTYour comments on the "Darwin" article are refreshing and reveal the kind of knowledge about science that I wish more Americans understood. Unfortunately, the anti-science movement won the day when it comes to educating our children. So, we are confined to living life in a culture that doesn't respect the truth, I'm afraid.
It is always great to read comments from someone who has taken the time to learn and grow. I wish there were more Dave Sandborgs in this country. -

Verie Sandborg , Aug 20, 2009, 1:29PM EDTThe news story on the Market Square link noted that this was the city's oldest square. I hope they find a way to include some of its history in the redevelopment.

Verie Sandborg , Aug 19, 2009, 12:13PM EDT"they've cut down all the trees in Market Square. Doesn't strike me as a good idea"
Why are they doing this? Are the trees diseased? Are they making way for development? Regardless, with less trees Pittsburgh just increased its carbon footprint. -

Jim K., May 27, 2009, 11:45AM EDTGood thinking on the kitten. I think I'll call animal rescue today and check in with them for some advice. It's sad to see it wandering like it has been.

Rick Meyer, Mar 31, 2009, 2:50PM EDTNaps for me would be wonderful, but actually I think we are at the end of Stephen's napping days. Suddenly getting stuff done around the house is getting more difficult to manage.
